Garbage, yard waste, and recycling are normally collected on the same day of the week (Tuesday through Friday).

Collection frequency

  • Garbage is normally collected weekly.
  • Recycling and yard waste are picked up every other week.  Use our interactive tool to find out when your next collection week will be.

Some holidays require changes to the City's regular curbside collection schedule.

When to put out your cart

Garbage, recycling, and yard waste should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day (by 6 a.m. from July through September). Due to the high cost of fuel and our limited staffing, it is not feasible for collection crews to return to your home after they have already serviced your street.
