Parks Status Alerts
Field status is updated daily around 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and around 7:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Coaches and or team managers, any changes in field status beyond this point will be communicated to you through your league administrator.
September 9, is Code Red.
Code Red indicates all field games and activities are closed and postponed for the evening.
Community center fitness rooms are open.
All Raleigh Parks fitness rooms require a current monthly, annual, or daily fitness membership pass. You may purchase membership passes at any community center front desk.
The following river access points for canoe and kayak launch on the Neuse River are closed for safety due to multiple log jams on the river.
Parking lots with joint access to the greenway and the river are open for use. Access to the river is closed until further notice.

The City of Raleigh is working with the Department of Transportation and the railroad company to remove the multiple log jams along the river between City of Raleigh river access points. We will post updates as progress is made on the multiple log jams as multiple sites. Please note that the river status, of closed, may not change until the last log jam is mitigated.
The Brentwood Park parking lot and multipurpose field will be closed starting January 25, 2021, and will remain closed during project construction until Fall 2021.
Wooten Meadow Park is closed for public use until late Fall 2021 while under construction.
Buffaloe Road Aquatic Center will be operating on modified hours of operation due to staffing. Please note that Buffaloe Road Aquatic Center has reduced capacity, and the large waterslide will have limited availability.

- Sunday, Sept. 12 - Open 1 to 5 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 13 - Open 3 to 7 p.m.
Pullen Amusements are operating on the following schedule:
- Pullen Carousel
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Pullen Train
- Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays, 2 to 6 p.m.
- Kiddie Boats
- Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cashiers may not be available. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance on RecLink.
Please expect extended wait times during peak hours. A mask will be required when riding the carousel and is strongly suggested at all other times.
Pedal boats are closed for the season.
We will be closing the parking lot off of Eden Croft Drive starting April 27 through the end of construction. The project is expected to be completed by October 2021. This could change due to weather or other construction factors.
Additional parking is available at 1500 Glen Eden Dr. Please access the playground via the greenway trail next to the building.
Construction is anticipated to begin in Fall 2021. During construction, the open lawn area to the east of the parking lot, shelter #1, and the restroom building will be closed. Temporary outdoor toilet facilities will be provided. Parking will also be impacted, with an estimated 20 spaces unavailable for use.
The dock at Brookhaven Nature Park is temporarily closed for repairs. It is expected to reopen in Fall 2021.
Raleigh Parks aquatic facilities may have limited capacities, hours of operation, or reduced amenities available due to staffing.
Please view each facility webpage or call the facility before visiting for the most up-to-date information.
Pullen Aquatic Center will be operating on modified hours due to staffing shortages.

The Mountain Bike Trail at Forest Ridge Park is currently closed. Please contact the park office for up to date information at (919) 996-5800.
Mountain Bike Trail status is affected by weather and trail conditions. Please only ride dry trails and respect wildlife and other users.
For emergencies while on the trail, call 9-1-1.

As greenways trails and structures age, maintenance and repairs are necessary. Due to the nature of this work, the trails will occasionally need to be closed to complete this work in a safe and efficient manner.
